Noella Jacobs wins Mainstreet Awards 2009

Noella Jacobs, Greensborough Town Centre Manager won the award for Centre Manager of the year with a program with special rate over $100,000.

In the light of the global financial crisis it was very impressive that every effort has been placed by the Greensborough Chamber of Commerce in making a “Pride of Place” for the community and in particular Greensborough Town Centre.

Jenny Taylor from Westpac, President of the Chamber of Commerce says: “Noella has been working part time for the Greensborough Chamber of Commerce for 7 years. Her passion and dedication has made Greensborough a more colourful and pleasant place to come. Many times Noella has given her time freely to help support her centre and the community. The current colourful Secondary School wooden flowers that you see in Main Street, the murals, the repainting of the streets and new garden beds are just some of Noella’s initiatives to create a better Greensborough. We are proud of her achievements”.
